Re: Super Tuesday results
Cruz had a fairly good night, and clearly can justify staying in. Rubio...not so much, and I think he's going to get creamed in his home state in a couple weeks. But we'll see.
Trump still prevailed despite making some rather significant mistakes recently, IMO.

Kasich had a huge surge in Vermont, but unfortunately for him it fell a tad short. Still impressive though.

Re: Super Tuesday results
Clearly Hillary had a great night, and is obviously going to be the nominee now. That is, unless she gets indicted for the email thing.

Re: Super Tuesday results
Dream on. There's no such possibility, despite what Trump and the radical right may say, and surely you know it.

Yeah, because they, i.e. the Obama administration, are protecting her -- not that she shouldn't be indicted. Anyone else would be.John F wrote:Dream on. There's no such possibility, despite what Trump and the radical right may say, and surely you know it.

Re: Super Tuesday results
If any of the lawyers in the DoJ believe that Hillary Clinton is being shielded from a legitimate indictment, it'll be in the newspapers. Indeed, if there were a substantial basis for criminal action, it would have been taken a year ago, long before she became a presumptive presidential nominee and very likely the next president. Now it's just too late. The DoJ isn't doing it not because they are "sheltering" Ms. Clinton, but because there is no case strong or urgent enough to warrant throwing the presidential selection process into chaos.
If this were a Republican administration, then the Hillary Clinton witch hunt would be on with a vengeance. They would go after her, no matter how weak the case, as a means of winning the presidency. The GOP has a history of using the DoJ against its enemies - remember Richard Nixon and John Mitchell? And having twice failed to defeat Bill Clinton, they impeached him out of little more than political enmity. But if they want to prevent Ms. Clinton's election, they'll have to do it the right way, by getting the most votes on November 8. If they can.
