Is this the link you wanted to post? There's nothing there.

By "they" you presumably mean the Republican Party. According to this piece from the Washington Post, the convention's platform committee is digging in much further to the right than Donald Trump, which is good news to me. The same positions that have lost them the last two presidential elections, combined with a candidate who is perfectly capable of losing without such "help," is double insurance.
