Just guessing that he was one of Chalkie's many friends. Condolences.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Thanks John, I did know him, he was the master by whom all of those like me will be judged.

He commissioned me a couple of times when he ran Columbia's photography anddesign department
