A Fit Question For A Psychologist

Post by dulcinea » Sat Jun 17, 2017 4:15 pm

Whenever I read about the motivation of terrorists, 'tis constantly explained that they are lost souls whose lifes are empty and without meaning, and who therefore yearn for a purpose and for the gratification of belonging to something greater than themselves. So, do they join the military? Do they search for gainful employment? Do they volunteer to work for Oxfam and the Salvation Army? No, no, and no; instead they commit such atrocities as beheading people and throwing them from buildings, or they kill themselves together with folk who have done them no harm.
How do you account for such idiocy? And please spare me the malarkey of an afterlife in the company of virgins who, more than likely, are all gay! The promise of an afterlife spent in the company of all the men for which I have yearned would never persuade me to commit such atrocities. I strongly suspect that all those lunatic losers are under the influence of those medications that have the dangerous side effect of inspiring suicidal thoughts.
Let every thing that has breath praise the Lord! Alleluya!

Whew! For a minute there I was worried.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
