Jerimiah Tower Food Documentary CNN

Post by lennygoran » Mon Dec 25, 2017 5:36 pm

I had never heard of this chef Jeremiah Tower-fascinating to learn about his life and his restaurants- never ate ate SF's famous Stars but twice ate at Chez Panisse and 3 times over the years at NYC's Tavern on the Green--the film whose link is below is highly recommended. Regards, Len

I knew about Tower and in ancient times when they still had interesting chefs preparing food on TV (as opposed to the unutterably boring Ina Garten) saw a couple of his shows. I have marked this for watching within the week. It does not hurt that Anthony Bordain is the narrator. The reason I'm not watching this now, and that I have not done my traditional Christmas post, is that I am still recovering from "Midnight Mass." It actually begins at 10:30, but what musician in his right mind begins performing at that hour? It gets harder every year, and this year the weather was a factor.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

I didn't know he had a TV presence-I see there's plenty out there on youtube! As for the weather this cold has really got us thinking about Florida-the older we get the more I hate it. Regards, Len

I did start to watch this and it was just a little too Zen for me. That's not to discourage anyone else.

As a college classmate once said regarding relationships with the opposite sex, I only care about the _________________ part.
