An Evening with Matt Dillahunty and Dr. Jordan Peterson

Some interesting ideas, as usual, under discussion here between a profoundly intelligent christian and a clever, articulate atheist: God, Religion, Morality and more...

Dr. Peterson says very serious things which sometimes come out amusingly. ("Honesty is often funnier than people think it is!") I notice that Dillahunty has posted a subsequent analysis of this discussion on his Patreon site; in short, he didn't seem to feel he had satisfied himself on the night to the extent that he was able to counter/understand/believe Peterson's arguments!! This postlude implies that there are provable arguments and counterarguments when it comes to the existence of god; I don't believe there are. It's the process and the thinking which is important, IMO, and for Dillahunty to make a critique of the interview 'behind Dr. Peterson's back' is a kind of back-hander.

Why would anybody bother with television when this superb stuff is available on the internet. All the time!! And there are plenty of enthusiastic, intelligent live audiences for all of these discussions.
