We discovered the slips at Pier 11 down by Wall st--goes to various places-$2.75 per ride-we took it to Long Island City and roosevelt island-great day to be on the water and superb views from the ferries. Len

Reminds me of the time when I took advantage of my military dependent ID and rode the Governor's Island Ferry to, well, Governor's Island, which at the time was a Coast Guard station (and a lovely community) off limits to "civilians." Best view of the lower Manhattan skyline I have ever had.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

John there are so many great views-from pier 11 you could go to Hoboken and I would imagine you'd have a superb 1! Len
