I happened to be living in Washington DC in 1961 when I was six years old, when my father was stationed with the US Air Force Band at Bolling AFB. I remember resenting my parents for absenting us from the inauguration, which was less than two miles away, and having instead to watch it on TV. I did not appreciate at the time that the Kennedy inauguration took place in one of the great classic DC inaugural blizzards. If you wish to skip the other interesting occupations on this episode of What's My Line, advance until you get to the guest star.
There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
