NY Times on TV

Post by John F » Tue May 28, 2019 3:23 pm

Just got an email from the Times:

The Weekly | Join us as we pursue the truth wherever it leads. One of the reasons we’re excited about “The Weekly,” our new TV series that brings New York Times journalism to television, is that you’ll get to meet our reporters as they ask tough questions, connect the dots and bear witness — all in pursuit of the truth.

The show premieres on June 2 on FX Networks and June 3 on Hulu, but on our new social handles we’ve already started to introduce ourselves, explain why we’re doing the show and tell you what to expect. Hear more from reporters Brian M. Rosenthal, Caitlin Dickerson and Matt Apuzzo.

We hope you’ll take a moment to say hello and ask us anything about the show or people you’ll meet. Join us on Twitter and Instagram.
FX is a pay tv channel owned by Disney. I already pay for an online subscription to the TImes and won't pay them more for this, but it's interesting to see what the Times is doing to try and offset the loss of readership that all newspapers are suffering these days.
