Actually, I MOVED this post to the cinema/TV board as it's a product of that truly golden age of animation,the 1930s.....and an effort from MGM, the no-expense-spared studio who had, in the opinion of more than a few, an EVEN BETTER animation department than Disney. In fact, ex-Disney people migrated to the studio for shorts like these. It's a remnant of the days when both artwork and music were done up individually and deluxe.
