This is a bit of a dark and strange one but I did enjoy it. I particularly liked the character played by Michael Caine.

I agree - good plot, good acting, good direction, and excellent cinematography. Michael
Caine is rarely bad in any movie (except "Blame It On Rio") and he played an interesting
character in this one. This film is worth a visit or revisit when it comes up on cable. Can't
imagine it on regular television.
