2013 has not been a banner year for going to the movies, as far as I'm concerned. We did see American Hustle and thoroughly enjoyed it. Christian Bale, who was unrecognizable in this film, did a terrific job!

Any thoughts on who will and who should win awards?

Didn't see most of these nominees this year, but I did see American Hustle and concur with your assessment. In fact, I thought that all four leading players were excellent!
