The making of Amadeus

Here's the place to talk about DVDs (or VHS) films and movies you have seen on television and recommend or don't recommend. Discuss actors and scores, too.

The making of Amadeus

Post by jbuck919 » Sat Jun 09, 2018 5:44 pm

This may have been posted before. Caution: It is not a director's cut as the YouTube title implies. It is a telling of the story about how the film came about.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Well, I posted it as a YouTube. You should just be able to click on the YouTube "play" symbol and not have to go through a link. However, here is the link if that's what you need:

Thanks, but I don't see a U-Tube play signal here. I'll watch it today as I've been turned into an invalid for the last 8 days with appalling back problems and 8 our of 10 pain levels.

Having just checked out the film I see that I have watched it before.

Belle sorry to hear this-was there a specific cause like working in the garden-feel better soon-I know only too well what back problems feel like. Regards, Len

You're such a kind and thoughtful man, Len; thank you very much for your wishes. The pain has been the same level as childbirth - excruciating. Physiotherapy has been horrific and it's back again tomorrow for more of the same. On the strongest painkillers: oxycodone. Initial diagnoses is muscle spasm but I've had further x-rays and may have ultrasound. Meantime, I'm going crazy. Thanks again!! :D
