Arthur Agee and William Gates, as adults, hosts of Hoop Dreams The Podcast

As a fan of sports flicks (Miracle, Remember the Titans, and Hoosiers), I had long heard about this one but never seen it. It reprised on TCM this week.

Hoop Dreams follows the story of two African-American high-school students, William Gates and Arthur Agee, in Chicago and their dream of becoming professional basketball players.

Simultaneously uplifting and depressing, this famed documentary has been added to the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress, being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" and recommended for preservation. (source: Wikipedia)
