UBS is a self-described fictional “whorehouse TV network” taken over by a giant corporate entity in 1976 that preyed on the inner rage of Americans that later came to be known as the Deplorables. UBS was not to be outdone until a decade later by the real Fox Network and Fox Cable News. Tucker Carlson is obviously based on Howard Beale, or maybe it’s the other way around.

By any measure, a great futuristic motion picture, streaming now on TCM. I hadn't seen it since 1976.
