Hello I'm Bonamici...

Post by Bonamici » Sun May 15, 2005 2:01 pm

I got a very nice invitation from Thomas Jordan and I decided to join the TCMG.

Very short about me:

I am:
- Born 1960
- Been playing piano since I was 4-5 years
- Self-learned, cannot read or write sheetmusic :(
- Composes everything between Neo-Classical to Progressive Rock
- a fan of E. Grieg, Mahler, Sjostakovitj and Ravel
- a fan of Spanish traditional guitar music
- a fan of Steve Hackett's latest CD "Metamorpheus" with "The Underworld Orchestra"... newly written classical and very excellent indeed!!!
- Married, have two sons and a Salukihound, got a little studio. I work with Cubase 3.0.2 and Reason 3.0.
- Unfortunately not connected to a real Symphonic Orchestra :)

Ok, that is my short-story...

Cheers

Hi and welcome. We're a pretty congenial, sometimes cantankerous assemblage of music lovers. Some of us enjoy hot debate in The Corner Pub on decidedly non-musical subjects.

I'm glad Tom invited you to check us out. Hope you post often.

I don't know about that business of being a fan of Mahler--just might exclude you from serious consideration.

Anyway, we need all the intelligent new input we can get, so welcome.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Welcome Bonamici. Drop by the forum whenever you have some free time. The activity on the forum has picked up recently and we'd enjoy having your input as well.

Hey, Bonamici! What a neat name! What a neat bio! I see your music habits are very good. Wouldn't be interested in early music, wouldja?

Welcome to the CMG. We Pub regulars get pretty feisty over - you know, alcohol and strong opinions . . .
