Music from World War II

I have a small but neat collection of World War II music ranging from patriotic tunes to popular favorites to real corny war-themed songs to radio broadcasts. Two weeks ago at J&R Music I discovered that NAXOS has a "Nostalgia" line I hadn't seen anywhere else. Two discs have many songs sung by my favorite singer from that era, Vera Lynn (who's still alive and well).
A few days ago at Tower I found a four-disc release, 25 tracks per CD, "Songs That Won the War: Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of VE Day." It's British, put out by DMG TV (DMGTV017). Perhaps it's a TV-offer special.
It's a great set. Many of the songs I have on other discs but many are new to me and the remastering is excellent. Very little ambient noise from the originals.
If that period interests you, you can't go wrong with this set.
