Mark Willey organ recital

Up-and-coming organist Mark Willey, who has begun an international career while holding on to his day job as music director of a church, gave a recital at our senior development last night. The one hour program was as follows:

Dietrich Buxtehude--Praeludium in D
J.P. Sweelink--Est-ce Mars
J.S. Bach--Schmicke dich, o liebe Seele
J.S. Bach--Prelude and Fugue in G minor
Herbert Howells--Master Tallis's Testament
Louis Vierne--Choral and Final from Sym.#2
(one other work, a last minute substitution, I didn't get the name)

Do you live in Leisure World? Whether the answer is yes or no, what do you have for an organ there, not to mention a space to play it in?

As you may know, the Charles Retirement Community in Baltimore has a magnificent chapel--it used to be the minor seminary for the Archdiocese of Baltimore!

We live in Riderwood which has an organ in the Chapel. The Chapel is used for musical programs as well as services. I'll try to get more information on the characteristics of the organ.
