A Perfect "Thank You!"

Post by Corlyss_D » Sun May 07, 2006 12:50 pm

I understand from James Jolly of Gramophone that Hyperion's begging bowl after they lost that law suit was filled to overflowing by generous donations from people like you and me, and with the excess, they produced and have now for sale a beautiful sonically splendiferous recording of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610.

Good news all around.

BTW BROINC has a new shipment of Hyperions & Helios' for dirt cheap prices.

That is very good news indeed. It did look like there wasn't much if any interruption in their recording plans. As usual, a lot of the scare talk proved unfounded. Of course, once that judgment has been paid off, that is it as far as contingent liabilities. They will not make the same mistake again and will have all copyright issues agreed to before recording.
