The Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta, Inc. is having their annual "Spring Fling" concert on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. The concert takes place at the Sandy Springs Christian Church in Sandy Springs, Georgia. The concert features Pro-Mozart's version of "Three Sopranos and Three Pianists/Organist." Feature soloists are Mary Ann Hill, soprano; Barbara Zellner, soprano; and Maria McDaniel, mezzo-soprano. The pianists/organists are Madonna Bronlwee, Nancy Boyd Dickson, and Andrew Bayles, the latter who will perform only on the piano.
This concert offers a wide variety of music in the form of solos, duets, and trios from Bach, Mozart, Puccini, Geershwin, Balcom, Saint-Saëns, Vierne, Yeston, Brahms and more.
Anyone in the Atlanta area will surely enjoy this concert. I would be there myself but am unable to this year. Previous concerts given by the Pro-Mozart Society of Atlanta have been outstanding.
