OK, he did it

Post by jbuck919 » Sun May 07, 2006 9:36 pm

Somehow our Ralph sneaked over his 8000th post while I wasn't looking. I don't think it had been three hours since I predicted a 48-hour time frame.

Think about it: Something like 16000 posts if you count the ones that were wiped out, and the only one that was a stinker was the review of a high school football movie when Ralph has no interest in sports. But nobody excpet me remembers that one.

Looking forward to our summer visit(s) Ralph. The train from Saratoga runs both ways, though I suppose I have the better part of that bargain. All the best.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Do you know when you're coming? I want to go away for a week but can and will plan around your visit which I'm looking forward to. I'll take you the small, broken Titanic memorial at South Street Seaport. :)

I am at complete liberty from July 1 through August 16. I'm actually getting there a week earlier, but I'm committed to the convention of the Organ Historical Society, which this year just happens to be in Saratoga.

Talk about "deja vu all over again"! It was less than three months ago (Feb. 20th to be precise) that we were congratulating Ralph on his 7000th posting. Congrats, congrats! :)

Now if only Corlyss and Lance would catch up on the 5 cents per post they owe me...

If you look in the dictionary, the definition of "indefatigable" is Ralph.

A few great Royal Navy warships bore the name "Indefatigable."

8000 posts is one thing, that many posts filled with wit, sly humor, pith and yes, grace, is another. Long may he wave.!!!

All that writing, and not a single tree needed to be cut down for it. The Environmental Defense Fund should give you an award, Ralph. :D

Wait a minute, on second thought, uhmmm, how many pages of legal briefs have you filed in that time span? :P
