What's the occasion? Did you finally switch to conservatism? Congratulations!

He means his 1000th post and it's true that we seem to have missed it. So let me take this opportunity to offer belated congratulations.

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Dan, I don't pay much attention to the post count - had to have somebody do it for me - so your 1000th slipped by me. But let me say we need you for balance, and I'm glad you're hanging in there.

And Pizza, did anyone note your 2000th? or did you just sneak in unnoticed?

You're an example of eloquence, however wrongheaded it seems to me on the political side - and on the musical side, a source of information, culture, and insight.

So, both of you, keep it up!

You know, I noticed that you were close to it last week when I was poking around in the list of top 10 posters, and I was going to say something to alert the assembled ears, but by the time I done tossing out the 12 porno pushers and the 13 pill-pushers, it slipped my mind!

Congratulations, Dan!

Your spirited perseverence despite the poverty of your arguments, not to mention your dismal lack of facts, makes you a credit to our board here regardless of how I feel about what you have to say!

I'd never want you to go away. Controversy is the essence of a thriving board.

Now, get craking on your next 1000.

Did you say you were preparing to move back to Seattle? You may get the Most Peripatetic Member Award, starting in Japan, going to Hawaii, and then on to Seattle. When do you go?

Thank you, Karl. You and the other members would be surprised how time consuming it can be. They come in waves. Some days, it's hard to keep up with them and between Lance and me we'll put out as many as 50 a day. And sometimes the same guys will come back almost immediately and reregister. Yesterday was quiet - we had none for the longest time.

Funny, I think the same about you. You're totally clueless when it comes to reality and your continual reliance upon right-wing talking points is laughable.

As for Seattle, that's my hometown.
