ABC News has just assigned reporter Jake Tapper, a former employee of the Brady bunch, to cover 2nd Amendment issues for the network.

Second Amendment issues? When the Supreme Court hasn't decided a single case under that provision.

Second Amendment issues? When the Supreme Court hasn't decided a single case under that provision.

Well, you know. He'll do puff pieces on the Brady bunch's success in this or that city or state. He'll go to the NRA conventions and ask officials there why they are hell bent on putting machine guns in the hands of toddlers. He'll report on the number of guns bought at gun shows used in bloody crimes because they have no background checks. And he'll dutifully report every high profile murder case where a gun was got illegally. I think personally that as such he'll get about as much air time as their Religion correspondent. It's the idea that inflames.
