What's your favorite beer?

I'm sure this has been addressed before, but I'm not in the mood to go searching for a previous thread.

And, since this the Corner Pub, for those of you who drink beer, what's your favorite variety?

Right now I really love Lindeman's Cassis Lambic ale:

Raspberries and beer initially sounded like a hideous combination, but this Belgian ale is truly delicious. Slightly sweet and fruity without being cloying. It isn't cheap--my local liquor store sells it for $4.99 per bottle--but it's wonderful as an occasional indulgence; perfect for dessert.

I also like Guinness, and St. Peter's Cream Stout. I generally prefer dark beer to light beer.

I've tried a variety of european/american beers as recommended on a yahoo finance article one weekend. Gave his best pick. Some were OK, but
I'm back to good ol Rolling Rock. Smooth and simple beer.

Yep Karl, latrobe Pennsylvania. Not sure why folks here have to look overseas for a great mid bodied beer.
Guess it looks cool if you're seen holding a foreign beer, impresses the women at the bar :-)

I'm more or less with Ralph now, preferring Henry Weinhard's root beer, but in my drinking days Anchor Steam Beer headed the list--preferably with an Old Bushmills back.

Those are basically my favorites, although I am also highly fond of porters

Fosters, Guinness, Dos Equis in a pinch, Killian's Irish Red in a pinch.

The other day, I broke down and bought a case of Fosters from the Booze Police here. One can get Guinness in the grocery stores here, but not Fosters.

I tend to prefer Pilsners to other beers. Lagers are ok, too. I guess my favorite is probably the Samuel Adams Octoberfest beer. Another good one is a local beer called Rio Grande Pils, one of 6 beers produced by the Rio Grande Brewing Co. here in Albuquerque.
