Soon to see 100,000 posts on CMG's music board!
We're not too far away from hitting a major marker for numbers of posts on Classical Music Guide's CHATTERBOX. Our music board will soon be seeing the 100,000 mark. Congratulations and thank you to all CMGers who have contributed so wonderfully to myriad subjects on our site.
We have also had considerable growth to our membership with many added during 2009, many of whom have yet to post but expressed high interest in joining our site.

Sounds great......but the stats on the main page seem to show we're a few generations past that!
(It says we're at 272,490.......but I have a feeling I'm looking at the wrong thing.)
[edit: Oh I see......you're talking about Classical Music Chatterbox.....]
I thought "music board" includes everything here.
I gotta get with the program.

Thank you, MarkC ... I attempted to clarify this in the original post! It's all very exciting - yes?!? Even my heart (as little as it is) is palpitating strongly!

And something over 20% of those are owing to two posters: Lance and Chalkie.
There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

Not a bad pair, Lance and Chalkie! A good example for the rest of us.

Thanks, guys, it's pretty staggering when it is seen that way, but, i'm only posting about my love for Classical Music, without the Music there would be no CMG...

Well, I don't really count mine. I'm just here, along with Lyssie, to make it a comfortable place for all of you to talk about classical music. Before computers, unless you were one-on-one with people, there was nobody to "talk" with. Aren't we lucky!

Well, you have certainly done your share and have contributed greatly to CMG, especially as our Elder Statesman! You have been wonderful to know and talk with. I have long admired the Islers!
