Jesus was the Messiah. His Passion, Death on the Cross, and Resurrection on the Third Day, and his sending forth the Holy Spirit to his disciples are the central events of history. He was a Jew, as were most early disciples. Each account of Jesus and his life here among us was written by a unique person, speaking to a unique audience. The disciples were not God. They were men. They had flaws. But their message was the truth from God. And it was for all the world to hear. And it still is....
We are very blessed to have a Pope, who like his predecessor, is counted among the greatest scholars the Church has had. Pope Benedict has published several books over the past years; each exemplifies the definitive and yet accessable account of Jesus, The Church Fathers and the Virgin Mary. They are published by The Ignatius Press. I recommend them to any and all people.

If Jesus was god he wouldn’t have let those who he entrusted his message and theology to make mistakes and errors. Same goes with the Koran, the Koran is such a salad its hilarious.
For example it says in the Koran that Moses' sister was Miriam, but not the Miriam that we know, but the Christian Miriam who claimed to give a virgin birth to Jesus. Amazingly ludicrous, Mohamed mixed two Miriams living 1500 years apart in different locations, and this is what 1.2 billion Muslims follow, and they also claim that Mohamed’s life and Koran are 'the central events of history', just like you.
But quantity and been famous doesn’t make wrong into a right, or a lie into a truth, for the victory is not for the mighty and the numbers don't always mean much.
If Jesus was god he should have seen into the future and chosen worthy men who would have been instrumental in channeling his messages in an orderly fashion without any contradictions and distortions in relation to the Holy Torah.
Since this never happened, and the Christian Bible is full of critical problems, the only simple conclusion is that Jesus was not god and was indeed a false prophet.
But the real Messiah that the Jews are waiting for will fulfill everything in accordance to God's will, without any failings, or shortcomings, or excuses. Everything will be perfect, because he will not come out of his own power and glory, but he will be armed with the word of God the almighty, and God will guide him , so no one in the world will have any doubt that this is his messenger and prophet.
