Jamie Oliver restaurant chain collapses
Jamie Oliver restaurant chain collapses
This self-promoting tool has left the restaurant industry in a wreck in Australia. Too busy giving advice to parents in the UK to 'bovver' about the business here, I expect:

Re: Jamie Oliver restaurant chain collapses
I'd no idea Oliver had put his name on so many businesses around the world. Clearly he was way overextended and I'd guess he was underqualified for all that management too.

Good for New Yorkers! But in Australia people who have to pay their own employees, plus their own bills - not to mention rents to landlords - are owed millions by Jamie Oliver. You can be sure he'll have his own millions protected from seizure.lennygoran wrote: ↑Tue Apr 17, 2018 7:08 pmHave never been to a NYC place of his-there's a lot of hype here in NYC. Regards, Len

We have a high political figure in our country who is known for not paying his bills! Regards, Len

There are a large number of people in businesses (big and small) who do exactly the same thing, but who are not actually bankrupt - where the creditors have zero chance of recovering any money. And they usually don't cover themselves in sanctimony in their daily lives, especially on the scale of loss of Jamie Oliver!!lennygoran wrote: ↑Wed Apr 18, 2018 7:34 amWe have a high political figure in our country who is known for not paying his bills! If people continue to do business with somebody after a bankruptcy that's their look-out. I'm sure Oscar Wilde would have had an appropriate epithet for that kind of stupidity.

Or, in my country, elect such a person president. Trump has filed four business bankruptcies, or maybe it's six, all for casinos and hotels, and all before the 2016 election. Jamie Oliver is a piker in comparison.
