Johanna Martzy was born in 1924. Excelent romanian violinist, and one or the icons of LP collectors, with Lola Bobescu and Ginette Neveu. A sensual sound, good technique and always respect for styles. On a LP collector's site, one of the offers to buy any Martzy's original first editions german DGG for 2.000 sterling pounds each.
