Post by DanielFullard » Thu Dec 01, 2005 2:08 pm

Ellen Kent's Production! March 29th next year

I live in quite a remote part of the uk and have been waiting to see this ever since I got heavily into opera last year...La boheme is one of my favourites and I cannot wait to see it live

Marvelous choice! I love basically any Puccini aria.

Daniel, good forl you!! (Take a hanky - if you are the tender type. I wept through my last Butterfly even though I knew the plot and the music inside out.)

Enjoy. And don't let anyone ruin the experience for you by telling you the tarnished heroin expires at the end of the opera.

No one can ruin it in terms of plot as I have about 5 recordings of the thing

Its justs that this is the first time I am actually going to see an opera in person

Now if you were a New Yorker you'd say "I'm going to HEAR 'La Boheme.'"

At a latitude just a little north of you, we see BEFORE we hear. (Just a matter of different physics. )
