I read of these events and wonder - how many patients those staff members saved last year? This idea doesn't make sense to me. Just test them weekly and keep them working.

I do hope this works. I have a dear friend who needs this. Her first transplant has 'given out' after some years. My brother-in-law passed away from kidney problems, as did another man I know.

I first heard Enescu's music when I was in high school and have always enjoyed it. Last month I was at the clinic for a checkup. A new intern came into the exam room. She was a student at the medical school down the road. As we visited I discovered she was Romanian. Her eyes brightened when I spoke ...

Those were good reads, thank you. I read "The Marble Man" some years ago. I wasn't much. I haven't read the Freeman books, but I have scanned through them. Catton and Foote present more sensible understandings of the General. I will never agree with some contemporary views. They are just wrong. Ever...

I just gave that Dvorak a listen on YouTube - Jorda/New London Symphony on Richmond (budget London). There were a few rough moments, but there were also some balances that were nice. I noticed two rhythmic 'differences' that are not what I usually hear.
