This is such a great opera and surprisingly the update didn't ruin in-in some ways very effective-the singing and acting were wonderful-at several points I saw Sue reaching for tissues as the tears came down. I'm glad we didn't turn in the tickets last minute and get a refund. Go figure? Regards, Len

Brian we were really surprised-I came prepared to hate it-especially on a perfect day to be outside in the garden-somehow he made it work emotionally for both of us-otoh it will never be our desert island Lucia! Regards, Len
