Way-hayyy! Thank you for that.

I hadn't counted posts but hard to believe for being here just a year.

It's been a very pleasant time. I've learned a great deal, sadly more that I've been able to contribute but best to try to give something back than just lurking. Certainly been a great encouragement to broaden my musical range. And I do try to cut down on the puns so I don't get sacked as some kind of pun-ishment.

Cheers, all!

Dane.

Please don't! I particularly enjoy your sense of humor. I'm still toying with the idea of dubbing you CMG's Comedienne.

And in case you are now thoroughly discouraged by obtaining Corlyss's endorsement, I enjoy the puns too.

Sorry, Corlyss, but I do believe I heard you criticize the Three Stooges, and that is unforgivable.

Here's what's holding me back: there might be a suggestion in the title that she was obligated to be funny all the time, a terrible burden when you want to say something grave. Abs robustly contributes many spirited, serious, and thoughtful insights to the political dialog in the Pub, often with her leavening humor, but sometimes not. I wouldn't want to put undue pressure on her to be funny all the time at the expense of her serious side.

What?! (gasps with amazement)........Never mind the small assumption but thank you for putting up with what passes as humour - many have called it differently. The musician in me remains deadly serious of course, in which case:
a terrible burden when you want to say something grave
well, it wouldn't be your vault, now would it?

But please, no titles. I'm merely a wandering musician who takes delight in this forum, always grateful for the help and (musical) encouragement I receive.

Believe me, I don't "put up with" anything. Not in me nature really. You're one of the most consistently amusing people ever to habituate our little board here. I enjoy your wit, even when it's aimed at me or my politics.

Well, you are I think, the only one of us who is named after an Alcoholic Beverage...I mean, could we really call Sean of Cieran 'Guinness' and get away with it, I think not..

Gee, I wish I'd thought of that for a screen name. I'm such a big fan of Guinness Stout, it would o' been a natural. I've a set of their pub glasses, and coasters, and a couple of posters.
