Classical Radio Streaming Playlist for Foobar Music Player

For any radio listeners tired of the declining quality of American classical music stations and who use the free Foobar music player for Windows http://www.foobar2000.org/download here is a Foobar playlist I found on another board with some European internet radio streams.

The first 6 stations in the list stream at near CD quality 320 kbps. All but two of the rest stream at 128 kbps or higher. All you have to do is download the playlist, drag it into Foobar's window and click on the desired station; the music will start playing, you will also be able to see what's being played.

I am using an ipad and stream to my Tivoli Pal radio. Unfortunately those you list only stream via Windows. I have found by googling a few classical music stations to stream. Not WQXR which seems distorted in its transmission. Any suggestions howto find others?

TuneIn Radio app for iOS. Any radio station, anywhere in the world. 20,000 stations and counting, including those I listed above. I am listening to Klara Belgium on iPhone 4 as I type this msg.

A very good streaming app for iOS devices is Foobar2000, but you also have to have Foobar2000 running on yr Windows desktop with the Bubbleupnp plugin installed. (An emulation of Foobar2000 is available online for Mac users.)

With that software, you will be able to stream the radio station playlist I posted above to iPhone or iPad. If you want, you may also stream your entire media library using the iPad as a kind of remote control.
