Thank you for posting those, Don. I have enjoyed them for many years, and recommend your recordings to all CMG members.

Thank you for these. As Op.110 is probably my fav LvB piano sonata, I've heard it first , and really enjoyed your assertive, vigorous reading.I'm now planning to hear the other two !

I've had both the CDs these sonatas appear on since they were first released and really enjoy them. What strikes me particularly Donald is the way you hold a beautiful singing line in the slow movements of both Op 109 and 110 without rushing the music. This was also a trait of Artur Schnabel and you connect to him via Bruce Hungerford (one of your teachers and mentors) so it's not surprising.

Op.109 is my second fav LvB sonata , and enjoyed your reading of it as well, perhaps even more so than Op.110.Bravo for both.

Thank you very much, gentlemen, for your kind comments! And to have my playing remind people of Schnabel and Hungerford - well, that's a great honor!

Indeed, Donald, you can be proud of your accomplishments! I have had your KASP recordings of the Beethoven 30, 31, 32 since 1999 and 2001 -- 20 years and still going! Your catalogue is rich with your recordings of Beethoven, Spohr, Artur Schnabel, Schubert, Schumann, and Brahms. Your Hungerford connection has done you very well!

Thanks very much, Lance! Am hoping to soon add to my YouTube channel your 2010 program about me, with music of quite a few composers.

Thanks for posting these, Don. I started with Op. 109 and I found your performance both moving and inspiring. I'm looking forward to listening to the next two.
