These are fascinating works, rarely performed. Unearthed by the team of Emmanuele Baldini & Pablo Rossi, this CD is a featured release in BBC Magazine with a five-star review, well deserved IMHO. Amazon has it for streaming, as does Spotify. The earliest opus was composed in 1912 before he studied in Paris and discovered Stravinsky's music: at that point the composer was simply a gifted cellist with a talent for composing. This is wonderfully innocent and uplifting music, a real find IMHO.
