I believe my first hearing of the Tabakova Cello Concerto, a striking work, Minimalist and late Romanticism joined ( perhaps ), but also English countryside to my ear.I heard only the Concerto. Not long in duration as concertos go, and I enjoyed it more than her 2-piano concerto (separate earlier topic here ).
