An intriguing 15-minute work, rarely recorded. Haven't heard it in decades...

Thanks, my first hearing of the work.There is also a recording at YT with Rostropovich with Nugano,LSO, live in 1989:

Honneger's Cello Sonata is also very fine, like it a bit more than the Concerto, mine a different recording, but here is Poltera /Stott on BIS:
