I have that one, Steve, and found it to be a great disappointment, especially when compared to, say, Horowitz, Gilels or Tipo. Schiff just sounds dead in the water, no sparkle or any real life energy, IMHO.

Tipo's EMI CD is a personal favorite, but could not find it on youtube. It's available on Spotify.

I also am a big Tipo fan, have cd's of her playing Bach Partitas and Czerny Sonatas.

My only disappointment with her was her Chopin Nocturnes: she just doesn't get it, unfortunately. She's superb in Bach, Clementi, Scarlatti. She would have been great in Haydn.
