I have that one, Steve, and found it to be a great disappointment, especially when compared to, say, Horowitz, Gilels or Tipo. Schiff just sounds dead in the water, no sparkle or any real life energy, IMHO.Rach3 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 9:33 amThanks , great playing.

My only disappointment with her was her Chopin Nocturnes: she just doesn't get it, unfortunately. She's superb in Bach, Clementi, Scarlatti. She would have been great in Haydn.
