Young violinist Daniel Lozakovich live in Amsterdam recently (date not given) in works for solo violin. The famous “ Chaconne” is more effective on violin than piano transcriptions, if rather overwhelms the rest of the Partita. I believe my first hearings of the Milstein showpiece and this particular, fascinating Ysaye.
