Leila Josefowicz plays Scottish composer Helen Grime’s Violin Concerto live.

I always try to hear Josefowicz , whatever she plays, here a single-movement , 25-minute , very dark but striking, bit Berg-ian, bit Henze-ian, work, my first hearing of the work and its composer, live in Amsterdam Jan.14,2023, with the Netherlands Radio Phil. under Kaan Canellakis:

The work will bear re-hearing.I enjoyed it much more on re-hearing.
