Modal neo-classicism in a work originally entitled 'Concerto Accademico', written in 1924-5 for the Hungarian violinist, Jelly D'Aranyi. It's a fine piece but has been totally overshadowed by VW's other work for solo violin, "The Lark Ascending".

1. Allegro pesante 00:00
2. Adagio - tranquillo 5:14
3. Presto 11:59
