The Limits of Radical Protest

Post by Belle » Fri Aug 05, 2022 6:32 pm

A long read, containing some inconvenient truths. Ergo, I don't expect anybody here to read it but for the lurker (or a Google search) it might provide some thought-provoking insights for open-minded people. It will be heterodoxy to those here whose only 'information' and 'truth' comes from activist media, like Pravda 1 and 2 and its undergraduate progeny.

"Defund the Thought Police" (Dr. Eric Weinstein, 2021).
"Facts don't care about your feelings" (Dr. Thomas Sowell)
‘If you believe that everyone should play by the same rules and be judged by the same standards that would have gotten you labelled a radical 50 years ago, a liberal 25 years ago, and a racist today’.(Thomas Sowell)

Typical Belle. Straight into the insults and the unpleasant passive aggression. You're really not a very nice person. Why post here if no one is open-minded? I'm not going to read it after that.
If you'd just said, try reading this, it has some insights, I'd have had a look.

Imagine, if you can, where we would be now if Thomas Paine had hewn to that line in “Common Sense”.

The people who need to read it, and won’t, are the GOP, Right, Trumpists, the White poor who have been manipulated since at least the days of Andrew Jackson.

I don't know why Deplorables even bother learning to read. They were far happier barefoot and illiterate.

Of course they can. Take for example the ditzes on the ECOTUS (Extreme Court of the U.S.). Self-appointed Chief Justice Sam Alito reads Spiked, Kavanaugh BeerAdvocate, Thomas the Gullah Geechee Register, Gorsuch Quillette; but the babe of the lot, the Right Reverend Amy Coney Barrett, reads the Gnostic Gospel of Ginny Thomas, proclaiming the Good News for Kooks.

OK Joe, you've convinced me. Perhaps SCOTUS judges lurk here? If so, their ears might be burning.
