This very disturbing discussion is yet more evidence of the decline in American universities and the role all of that plays in the USA's rapidly diminishing hegemonic status - not to mention tanking economic and cultural standards. As both men agreed, "all the bad ideas in the US come out of the universities". Same here in Australia, only we don't have people like Dr. Peterson with the guts to talk about it. He wouldn't be allowed to pass through the nest of vipers/activists in the first place to even hold such a conversation!! My-way-or-the-highway/shut-up politics.

Just the facts, Milady.
According to the UK’s just published Times Higher Education World University Rankings for 2023, 7 of the 10 top universities in the world are located in the U.S.A.
Of those 7, 4 happen to be in the ivy League.
Unsurprisingly, of its top 25, not one, zero, nada, is located in Australia. Only one, way, way down in 18th place, is to be found in Canada, where Mr. Peterson teaches.
Once again the sullied pots are calling out the kettles.

Again, and as usual, neither comments constitute an argument of any kind. Just the standard terms of insult, which tell us that there's truth being told and somebody is hurting. Rach3 at least provided some humour with his riff on 'penis envy' so one star for that!!
Come back, do, when there's an intelligent counter argument providing FACTS. Not pamphleteer "facts" but REAL facts. Meantime you could start with 'the black guys' Drs. Glenn Loury and John McWhorter - both at the coal face of the failing academic sector. And they speak about it loudly and often, having belled that cat some time ago.

Do you not read your own posts? Like Old Faithful Geyser, you spew out insults to any and all here on a daily basis, then resort to more of the same when challenged.
Whoa there! When you go back to school you might consider applying to one of the outstanding U.S. colleges and universities international students flock to every year. The University of Iowa, for instance, has a world famous writing program.

Or consider Ohio's Case Western University's world famous research programs and Oberlin College's world famous music conservatory.jserraglio wrote: ↑Wed Jan 25, 2023 3:32 am...Whoa there! You bet. USA higher education is the envy of the world. Any university here with a modicum of reputation draws heavily on international students.
