Backblaze Backup Question

Post by maestrob » Thu Oct 21, 2021 10:00 am

Does anyone here use Backblaze as a cloud backup, and if so, what is your experience with them?

They are offering unlimited storage for a $70 annual fee, and I am sorely tempted, as Microsoft's OneDrive account charges $9/mo per terabyte after you fill up your initial allowance of 1TB. With my music collection, that could easily become quite expensive (I refuse to compress files) and it's more than a bit time-consuming to upload folders in their proper order. Backblaze automates everything and requires much less attention.

Anyone have any observations on this?

Thanks.
