Kurosawa and Movement

This great director was the subject of a documentary I saw last night and it threw into sharp relief his highly choreographic, stylized cinematic eye and mobile frame. I found this today, which is something of a compendium of Kurosawa's techniques for movement and frame mobility (not necessarily the same thing):

In that link I posted about Kurosawa, I just loved it when Sidney Lumet said 'he was the Beethoven of movie directors'.
