This is a fascinating, inspiring film, featuring Tom Hanks as a prison guard and Michael Clarke as a Black man with supernatural powers unjustly condemned to death for rape. It is based on the eponymous Stephen King novel and directed by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption, 1994, based on a short story by Stephen King).
Strongly recommended.
