The Schumanns and Johannes Brahms: The memories of Eugenie Schumann, daughter of Robert and Clara

Adansonia Publishing, first published in 1927 - a new reprint

"Eugenie Schumann, youngest daughter of the famed composer Robert Schumann and his wife Clara discusses here memories of her life, and her studies with Johannes Brahms."

For some reason, I never got this book when first published in 1927. I wonder why. This is most interesting to read the correspondence among the Schumann family. It gives much insight into the lives of these extraordinary musical artists and their day-to-day lives with their offspring. 140 pages of enlightening reading no matter where you look in this paperback, published in April 2021 and even puts you back into their own time frames. ♫
