I've been reading some real raves about the Maderna Mahler 9 on RCMR. It was apparently out on Arkadia before, but the sound on the new BBC release is greatly improved.
In fact, I've been reading raves about Maderna in general for several years on that board, but have yet to hear anything by him. I think I'll get this Mahler 9.
