Werner Isler makes CMG's "1000 Poster Club!"
Werner Isler passes his 1000th Post on CMG
CONGRATULATIONS to one of our original and favorite people on CMG, WERNER ISLER, who passed the 1,000 mark on his number of posts. Werner is a total gentleman, and indeed, a gentle man, music loving, plays the piano, and for all of his 84 years, has more energy and interest in life and the good things about living than people half his age!
Please join me in congratulating Werner Isler on his presence and participation on the Classical Music Guide boards.

I realize he has a real son here, but he has always addressed me as if I were another (like my own father, with friendship but no longer correction). No, that is not fair; he has always been as a peer to those who are much younger and have not been through what he has. He does not seem like someone in the top quartile of life, but rather like someone we would wish to go on and on. Kindest wishes, and many thanks, Werner.
There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.
