Very Fine Article on Future Constitutional Issues

Post by Ralph » Sun Aug 28, 2005 12:13 pm

Professor Jeffrey Rosen's article in today's New York Times Sunday Magazine is too long to paste but it's essential reading for anyone anywhere on the political spectrum interested in the coming issues before the Supreme Court.

The article is everything you say it is, Ralph. Not easy to see how it would translate into good questions to pose to Roberts, though (too subtle among other things). Now of course, if they'd let you write the questions....

There's nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.

It was an excellent article.

I fully expect 80 plus yes votes for Roberts regardless of what questions are asked. Now if someone could just convince Ginsburg and Breyer that retirement is a viable option for them as well!
